The Lincoln Stars (32-23-3) will close the regular season with a two-game set against the Green Bay Gamblers (36-15-7) in the Ice Box this weekend. Puck drop is set for 7:20 PM.

The Stars are second in the Western Conference with 67 points and a chance to clinch home-ice advantage in the playoffs. Lincoln has gone 18-10-0 on home ice this season and is led by Tanner Laczynski who is tied for second in league scoring with 63 points.

Green Bay is second in the East with 79 points and has a shot to win the Anderson Cup, awarded to the USHL team with the most points in the regular season.  The Gamblers are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games and are led by Sam Saliba and Marc Michaelis who have 50 points each.

This weekend marks the first meeting between the teams this season. The Gamblers have won four of the last five games against the Stars. Lincoln’s last win came on March 2013 in the Ice Box.
