In Lincoln 20 city crews remain on duty treating arterial streets, bus and school routes with granular salt pre-wet with brine where needed.

Streets are currently wet to partially covered in snow with blowing snow possible throughout the day, reducing visibilities.

The KLKN Weather Team says the advisory remains in effect until 12 p.m. Thursday.

Snow accumulation of up to half an inch is possible.

Blowing snow and very cold wind chills are expected.

Drivers should use extra caution and be alert for slick spots, especially on residential roads and sidewalks, slow down and increase following and stopping distance.
