Coby Mach, President of LIBA and well-known Lincoln radio talk how host, has passed away Friday evening.

His family sent out this statement: 

“Tonight our family lost a husband, a father and a wonderful man with the passing of Coby Mach. We are thankful for all of the love and support we have received from so many friends at this time of mourning and grief. We ask for the community’s prayers as our family reflects on the life of a man we love.”

The Lincoln Police Department also released a statement: 

We are saddened to report that 53-year-old Coby Mach was found deceased inside his parked car in the 5300 Block of Concorde Dr.

The initial investigation has revealed Mach died of an apparent suicide.

Coby was a pillar in the Lincoln community and a respected member of our local media.

He impacted countless lives through his Drive Time Lincoln radio show on KLIN and his work with the community as the president of the Lincoln Independent Business Association. We offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends and coworkers.
