A two-alarm fire was reported early Sunday morning, but because of a call from a passerby and quick response time, it limited the fire damage.

"Fire grows very fast, very rapidly, this could have been a fire that engulfed the whole building but fortunately a passerby noticed the smoke called right away we had a quick response we were able to get a quick know down on the fire and we were able to put it out quickly,” Cpt. Dave Engler the LFR Battalion Chief said.

It happened at the intersection of South Street and Devonshire drive at the Pembrook Place.

The fire started in a master bedroom and was contained to just that room.

Officials say there were no injuries involved, and investigators say the cause was electrical and the estimated damage was roughly $30,000 to $50,000.
