Local mentoring program holds annual bowling fundraiser
On Sunday, a group of Lincolnites hit the bowling alley to raise money for a good cause.
Many people came out to do some bowling and raise some money for their services at Sun Valley Lanes.
Sunday was the groups annual fundraiser.
"We got a really nice turnout from the community. It's always really encouraging to see people come out to support a good cause," said Kyle Cartwright, one of the mentors in the program.
So far this year, over $45,000 has been raised.
More volunteers and mentors are needed.
Right now, over 100 boys are on the waiting list for a mentor.
