The Lincoln and Lancaster County Narcotics Task force arrested 39-year-old Tommy Meyer and 32-year-old Jordan Huettner Monday evening.

Lincoln Police Officer Luke Bonkiewicz said task force members were near NW 12th and West Bond street when they saw Meyer. Bonkiewicz said they knew he was a parole absconder and tried to take him into custody. Meyer initially ran away, but was eventually taken into custody.

Bonkiewicz said officers found multiple baggies of suspected meth totaling 26.4 grams of meth and $131 in cash on Meyer's person.

He was arrested for three felonies: possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of money while violating controlled substance statute and resisting arrest (subsequent offense).

Officers then obtained and served a search warrant on Meyer's hotel room near NW 12th and West Bond.

Bonkiewicz said officers found 32-year-old Jordan Huettner inside the hotel room, along with two glass meth smoking pipes with suspected meth residue, two digital scales, .9 grams of suspected meth and four boxes of ammunition.

Huettner was arrested for possession of controlled substance and also had three arrest warrants.
