Charles Wan'Dale Robinson cited for possession of marijuana
One of Nebraska's highly touted recruits has run into trouble with the law.
Charles Wan'Dale Robinson, an 18-year-old true freshman running back, was cited for possession of marijuana late Sunday night.
UNL police were called to the University Suites after a community service officer smelled marijuana coming from Robinson's room. The marijuana was eventually found in Robinson's vehicle.
He was cited for having less than an ounce in his possession. This is Robinson's first offense and it is an infraction, not a misdemeanor. He will be arraigned July 9th in Lincoln.
A Nebraska spokesperson said in a text that the University is aware of the situation and taking the proper steps.
Robinson practiced with the Huskers during this past spring.
