One of the highest-priority prospects for the Nebraska coaching staff is officially on the commit list.

South Dakota defensive tackle Nash Hutmacher announced his commitment to play football for the Huskers Saturday morning.

In his commitment, he thanked his family, coaches and teammates, as well as his hometown of Chamberlain. Hutmacher selected the Huskers over a host of Division 1 offers, most notably Wisconsin, which was his other finalist.

Hutmacher is also one of the most decorated heavyweight wrestlers in the country, but will focus on football in college.

According to Rivals.com, Hutmacher last weighed in at his football weight of 305 pounds. He will have one more season of wrestling at 285 pounds before adding weight to come to Nebraska.
