The Fred Hoiberg era is off and running. Nebraska had five players in double figures Wednesday night in a 91-63 rout of Doane in an exhibition game at Pinnacle Bank Arena. 

Dachon Burke Jr. led the way with 15 points. Samari Curtis added 12 points while the trio of Thorir Thorbjarnarson, Kevin Cross and Haanif Cheatham tacked on 10 points each.

Sophomore guard Cam Mack filled the state sheet with five points, seven rebounds and eight assists while committing just one turnover. 

The Huskers officially open the season on Tuesday, Nov. 5, against UC-Riverside. Tip-off set for 8:00 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
