LPD: Resident finds swastika carved into wall of Lincoln apartment complex
Authorities are investigating after a resident reported finding a swastika carved into a wall of a Lincoln apartment complex.
Lincoln police dispatched officers Wednesday to the 35 East Apartments at 35th and Holdrege Street.
Officers found the carving on the wall outside the apartment of the person who reported it.
Police said the carving was discovered to have been done between 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday morning. Police said the apartment complex is a secured facility with limited access.
Officers interviewed residents, and do not believe the vandalism was targeted at any specific person.
No suspects have been identified.
