Police are searching for the person responsible for breaking into not one, but two businesses this weekend.

Officer Katie Flood says around 9 o'clock Sunday morning an employee at the Lincoln Community Playhouse near 56th and Normal found a window in the building smashed out.

She says once inside, the employee saw a large glass donation jar had been broken and all the cash stolen.

But the Playhouse wasn't alone, Officer Katie Flood says, “Then about 2 hours later at Ramos Pizza just up the street at 48th and Normal an employee arrived to find a window there had also been broken.”

Cash was also taken from Ramos pizza.  Police say there's no evidence connecting the two crimes, but the locations suggest they are related.
