After two separate fires at Lincoln High that sent students home Thursday morning, athletic events had to be moved.

The Fremont/Southeast/Lincoln High Swim and Dive Meet was originally scheduled to be held at Lincoln High but was moved to Lincoln Southeast High School.

“After the fire today all we did was call Southeast and athletic director JJ Toczek was more than willing to move the swim meet down to here,” Pat Gatemeyer, Lincoln High Athletic Director, said.

Lincoln High still acted as the home team, with parents timing the meet; though some shared they were sad to not have a concession stand.

School will be back in session Friday.
