Husker’s win in inaugural game TD Ameritrade Park

Nebraska v. Creighton is always an great rivalry match up, but the real excitement in Tuesday night's ball game was where the game was played.  Tuesday was opening day at the TD Ameritrade Park in downtown Omaha.

The ballpark's inaugural game was a sell out, although the colder weather may have kept some people away.

The $131 million state–of–the–art park replaces Rosenblatt Stadium, a staple in downtown Omaha and host of the College World Series and Creighton University baseball.  While some will miss the memories, many fans say the new home for the NCAA Baseball Championship and host for Tuesday's game is a great change of scenery.

The 24,000 seat stadium will host the College World Series for at least 25 years.  This year, the CWS begins June 18.

The Huskers beat the Blue Jays 2-1.
