Teen Arraigned In Two-Day Crime Spree

A 15-year-old Elm Greek girl, accused of leading police on a two-day chase through South-Central Nebraska, was in court Monday. Wendy Valencia was arraigned in Phelps County. She faces several weapons charges, as well as counts of theft, fleeing police and assault. Valencia's 18-year-old companion, Emetrio Guarjardo was arraigned last week on similar charges.

The pair were arrested October seventh, accused of evading authorities during a two-day crime spree. The two allegedly shot at a patrol car, ransacked a home and shot at police cruisers and a pickup, injuring two children.
