Teen arrested for having throwing stars in his pocket

18-year-old Tremayne Bluford was arrested after a traffic stop Monday night.

Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands said Bluford gave an officer the wrong name. Once police figured out who he was they learned he had an outstanding warrant and two broadcasts out for his arrest.

Police searched Bluford and found five throwing stars in his pocket. He was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon and providing false information to a police officer, along with his warrants.

His warrants were for careless driving, operating a vehicle to avoid arrest, no operators license, violating traffic control devices, failure to obey lawful order of a police officer, theft by shoplifting and minor in possession.
