The teen street survival program was in town over the weekend, showing young drivers how distractions can effect their driving.

From a skid pad to a slalom, teen drivers learned how to react in extreme conditions.  18–year–old Alec Rowen was one of the participants.  He says learning how to react in different situations is something everyone should know…”I think it's very important. Everybody should know how to control their car in case something happens, eventually something will happen so you need to know what to do when something does come along.”

The Nebraska Region Sports Car Club of America was also on hand, along with the BMW Car Club.  This is the second year the program has been offered in Lincoln.
