Press Release:

Weather permitting, temporary ramp closures will occur Monday night, April 25, at 7:00 p.m., on I-80 Exit 401, the westbound exit ramp from I-80 to US-34 west and 9th Street/downtown, while concrete pavement repair work is completed, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.

In addition to those ramps being closed, Exit 401C on I-180 will also be closed.  Exit 401C is the I-180 to I-80 west on-loop.  Single-lane closures are also a possibility in the northbound lane of I-180 between Cornhusker Highway and Fletcher Avenue.

From I-80 west, motorists are advised to use Exit 399 and follow Cornhusker Highway to I-180 for access to the downtown area and to US-34 west.  From I-180, motorists should use Cornhusker Highway to the Lincoln Airport Interchange for access to I-80 west.

It is anticipated that all of the closed lanes, ramps and loops will be open to traffic by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, April 26.

The Department of Roads’ manager is Bob Sanburn of Lincoln.  Motorists are reminded

to drive cautiously through construction zones.
