LINCOLN, Neb. It’s about time to go back to school. The center for people in need is helping families.

This Saturday and Monday. They’ll have school supplies ready to give out to kids of all grade levels K through 12. And for low income families, this a huge help.

“It’s very hard for low income children when they know all their friends are going to have backpacks and they don’t. And, they often feel awkward, they feel the teacher wants them to have backpacks and says you have to. But you know they’re expensive!” Said Beatty Brach, Executive Director at CFPIN

They’ll be giving out supplies Saturday at the center from 9 to 3. And next Monday from 10 to 6. They could use more donations and volunteers. Contact officials if you can help.
