The City Of Lincoln Is One Step Closer to Rebuilding A North Lincoln Neighborhood

The City Council approved a plan on Monday hat would let developers buy old property and redevelop University Place on North 48th Street.

Engineers at Schimmer Associates roll out the plans. They've been hired to study traffic flow, and how to make the area look better. However some people have one big issue with the traffic and that the existing businesses are too close to the streets. Widening is not an option, and they'll have to find an alternative.

They are having an open meeting tomorrow night to hear ideas from the public. If you're interested you can call 488-2500.
