Things May Be Looking Up For The Nebraska State Fair
It's the end of the first full weekend of what many are calling a make-or-break year for the Nebraska State Fair. With free shows, new attractions, and dozens of family-friendly contests, state fair officials are trying to draw big crowds for this year's fair. State fair officials hope its all the new attractions that will make this year's fair better than ever. Judging from a crowded opening weekend, it seems to be working. Several years of low attendance has left the Nebraska State Fair strapped for cash., and depending heavily on a better turnout this year. Fair-goers say the fair seems much more crowded this year. With a week to go until the end of the fair, state fair officials can only watch and wait, and hope the crowds will keep on coming.
