Three former Huskers receive invites to NFL combine

Ameer Abdullah, Randy Gregory and Kenny Bell have all received invites to the NFL Scouting Combine, which will be held Feb. 17-23 in Indianapolis.
Abdullah, Nebraska’s leader in all purpose yards, is coming off an MVP performance in the Reese’s Senior Bowl and is a projected second round pick according to CBS Sports.
Gregory is a projected top five pick according to ESPN draft analysts Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay. He is coming off an AP third team All-American season in 2014.
Bell, Nebraska’s all-time leading receiver in yards and receptions, has been working out in Dallas preparing for the NFL Draft.
The draft will be held from April 22-24.
