From Meteorologist Sean McMullen:

Light snow will continue to fall this afternoon before tapering off tonight into tomorrow morning. While areas from Grand Island to Columbus can expect a trace to .5″ of snow, the Lincoln area is looking forward to between .5″ to 1.0″. The highest snow totals, between 1.0″ to 2.0″, are expected along and south of Highway 136 from Superior to Fall City, including Beatrice.
As for temps, we’ll max out in the mid 20’s today along with a light south breeze 5-10 mph. 
While highs are expected in the 30’s over the next couple of days, a second round of snow will set up Monday lasting through Tuesday night, bringing additional accumulations to the area.
