Lincoln’s Public Safety Director Tom Casady will discuss a ballot issue Thursday morning relating to the City’s 911 emergency radio system.

Part of the ballot issue also includes a fire station relocation plan.

Casady will be joined by members of the citizen committee which unanimously recommended the City fund the two public safety projects through a quarter-cent increase in the City sales tax for three years.

Voters will decide the issue April 7.
