Traffic was backed up in all directions at 27th and Highway 2 this afternoon after a truck accident leaked hazardous liquid into the streets.

The driver of the truck said cleaning solution spilled out of the truck when he rear ended another truck going Westbound on 27th.

Both drivers say they were unharmed.  Driver Gene Berken says, “I could've stopped no problem but the other driver, whether he wasn't paying attention or he couldn't stop. I don't know, but he just plain rear–ended me.”

Traffic was detoured for a couple hours to Old Cheney.

Both drivers say they were headed to Salt Lake City, but won't be driving the rest of the way together.
