Truck Companies Cope With High Diesel Prices

Gas prices continue to be a concern for drivers everywhere. For independent trucking companies, the rising price of diesel is starting to become more than just something to worry about.  This is the highest diesel price many truckers have seen and they say it's taking a toll on their companies. Owner and truck driver John Wood of WW Transportation says nearly fifty percent of the company's weekly income is paying for fuel costs, and that makes it impossible for them to make a living.  Triple A of Nebraska says the soaring fuel-prices are a result of a lack of supply.  The average cost of diesel right now is anywhere from $3.13 to $3.25 a gallon. Truck drivers say it costs around two or three hundred dollars each time to fill up their trucks.
