Two arrested in Jimmy John’s robbery

A local restaurant helped Lincoln Police track down two robbers.
Police arrested 19-year-old Magera Santino for robbery Thursday night.
They said someone called the Jimmy John’s near 14th and P to ordered food for delivery.
That’s when an employee recognized the number that was involved in a robbery on September 11th.
So, the store contacted police.
An undercover officer set in the area of 8th and C that’s when Santino and a 16-year-old boy met the officer not intending to pay for the food.
Police said they believe the two are connected to the Jimmy John’s robbery that happened this past Sunday.
The 16-year-old was referred to juvenile court.
