Update on Lincoln East Player Brady Beran
Students in Grand Island are helping an injured Lincoln East Football Player. Homecoming money and pop machine profits from Grand Island Senior High, were given to the Brady Beran family Thursday in Lincoln.
The cheerleaders made a get well banner for Brady and presented his family a 1-thousand-dollar check during this game against Lincoln East. Beran was injured in a game last month against Lincoln Southeast. His family says Brady is in serious condition and is opening his eyes more and is working on moving his left side. They've also turned on ESPN so Brady can hear it.
Just a reminder, friends of Brady will be out this Halloween knocking on doors raising money. The students going through Lincoln neighborhoods, will be wearing special “Brady Bunch” t-shirts.
Checks should be made out to “Brady Beran Trick or Treat.” You can also drop off your donation at any Union Bank Branch.
