Lincoln police may have a lead to help find a suspect who grabbed a Lincoln teen off her bike and raped her.

Police say the teenager was riding her bike to a friends home around 1 a.m. last Friday when she was sexually assaulted.

Now, police say footage from a street camera shows a possible witness walking in the area around the time of the attack.

“Video surveillance from that area indicates that someone may have witnessed the incident. We are searching for the witness or anyone with additional information about the crime,” says Officer Katie Flood of the Lincoln Police Department.

If you have any information, you're urged to call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600 or Investigator Frankens directly at 402–441–7739.
