Lincoln police believe a youth baseball coach accused of sexually assaulting a player would have other victims.

They say a 33-year-old Jeff Hawks sexually abused an 11 year–old player during private training sessions.

They say the youth baseball coach abused the boy between August and December of 2014.

Officers believe the abuse was ongoing.

According to an affidavit, Hawks grabbed the boys genitals.

The Lincoln Sox organization released a statement Wednesday saying  “Mr. Hawks is no longer involved in the Lincoln Sox baseball organization.”.

Hawks’ bond is set at $10,000. He is due back in court next month.

Police are urging anyone with information about other possible victims to contact Officer Chris Champoux of the Lincoln Police Department at 402–441–8979.
