LINCOLN – The US Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of fugitive Jason Robert Jackson, 24, wanted on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Jackson has an extensive criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous.  He has brown hair and brown eyes, stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 156 pounds.

The U.S. Marshals say Jackson is believed to be in the Lincoln area.  If you see Jackson, do not approach him.  Call 911 or the US Marshals at 402-742-7021.

The U.S. Marshals Service is the federal government's primary agency for fugitive investigations. The Service arrests 302 fugitives every day on average.  U.S. Marshals task forces combine the efforts of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to locate and arrest the most dangerous fugitives.  Task force officers are state and local police officers who receive special deputations with the U.S. Marshals. While on a task force, these officers can exercise U.S. Marshal authorities, such as crossing jurisdictional lines.
