Water Main Break Caused Flooding To The City County Building
A water main broke Wednesday night at the City County Building. There were some tense moments for workers when the basement to the hall of justice began flooding with water. It happened around 7:30, when Lincoln police say a water main broke near the corner of 9th and Capitol Parkway causing the basement to Hall of Justice to flood with at least three feet of water. The flooding forced the 911 call center to move to its back up location in the highlands. The police headquarters was also forced to relocate to a different precinct. The Jail or the City Hall Building were affected by the water main break.
