Water main Break Causes Problems For Commuters

A frustrating commute for drivers after crews responded to a water main break between 33rd and Sheridan. Crews say the ten inch water main that broke was seventy-five years old. A few people who live on Sheridan were out of water, but their service has since been restored. There is some damage to the pavement, and crews hope to have the problem fixe soon, but it could take some time. The cause of the break is yet to be determined but crews think the lack of rain is to blame. People driving should also know that west bound traffic between 33rd and Sheridan will be detoured down south street until the problem is fixed.
