One lucky player who bought a Powerball ticket for the Wednesday, January 7 drawing is holding a ticket worth $20,000.

The Nebraska Lottery has confirmed that one ticket sold for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball number.

The winning ticket was sold at Hy-Vee #3, 5020 North 27th Street in Lincoln.

The winning numbers from Wednesday’s drawing were 14, 15, 47, 49, 59, and the Powerball was 10.

Because this ticket was purchased with the $1 Power Play® option, the regular $10,000 prize was multiplied by the 2X Power Play multiplier for a total of $20,000.

“Someone in Nebraska is waking up richer today,” said Jill Marshall, Acting Director of the Nebraska Lottery. “We are encouraging our Powerball players to check their tickets carefully for winners. You can check your tickets at any Nebraska Lottery retailer and at nelottery.com, or you can call the Nebraska Lottery offices at 402-471-6100.”
