Woman Arrested After Attacking Neighbors

A Lincoln woman is in jail this morning after threatening her neighbor with a butcher knife.

Police say 57 year old Theresa Johnson was arrested just after one this morning near 56th and Huntington.

They say she was upset a male was visiting her neighbor.  Witnesses saw Johnson pacing outside the home shouting racial slurs.

Police say Johnson then threatened her neighbor and her friend with two knives and a grill fork.  They say she cut thru the neighbor's screen door threatening to kill them.

Police say this isn't the first time Johnson has had a run–in with authorities.  Officers say she had an outstanding warrant for stopping government operations.  “She has a history of calling, I believe it was 9 times within the past year. She calls the 911 center rambling, making inappropriate comments to the dispatchers, not needing the police to be in route,” officer Katie Flood says.

Johnson was arrested for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
