Woman Stops Home Break-In

A Lincoln man is behind bars accused of first degree sexual assault and he's there partly due to a woman's quick actions. Arnetta Cooper heard a strange noise in her house and when she got out of bed to see what it was, she saw a man standing inside her home. Instead of running away or screaming for help, Arnetta darted after the man. The suspect tried to take off through a window, but he couldn't immediately get away- Arnetta had grabbed a hold of his leg.

Eventually the man was able to get away, but he left his drivers license just feet away from her sleeping children. Police arrested 35 year old Bud King. In addition to burglary, police were able to connect King to a rape case two weeks ago.
