A 19-year-old York woman accused of having sex with a 14-year-old has taken a plea deal.
Crystal Moul had been scheduled to go on trial July 31, facing a felony charge of sexual assault of a minor. Prosecutors say the incident occurred in November 2011. Under Nebraska law, people 19 and over cannot have sexual contact with people under 16. On Monday Moul pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, which is a Class 1 misdemeanor.
She faces up to a year in prison. Her sentencing is scheduled for July 16.
