Dominic Ferraro
Dominic spent most of his early childhood afraid of storms. His fear of the weather would soon turn into a fascination.
Dominic has lived in Lincoln for most of his life and has been a Huskers fan since birth.
He originally wanted to pursue a career in forecasting for the National Weather Service. But he changed his mind after job shadowing several times at KLKN throughout high school and college.
He interned at KLKN during the summer of 2024 and solidified his love for communicating the weather story to the public.
Dominic graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2025 with a degree in meteorology/climatology and minors in broadcasting and mathematics.
He then returned to KLKN for a full-time position.
In his free time, Dominic enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to Husker football games, spending time outdoors, and making music.
