Emma Norwood
Emma grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, with four older siblings.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication media studies with a minor in political science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
She developed a passion for news and media by watching WSOC-TV and “Dateline” with her parents.
Emma was an intern for a baseball team in North Carolina, where she was a broadcaster and social media manager. The experience solidified her love for journalism and reporting.
When she’s not covering the latest news, she spends her free time cheering on the Carolina Panthers and the Wolfpack, reading books or spending time with friends.
