Nick Eriksen

Nick Eriksen grew up in Sugar Grove Illinois, just an hour west of the city of Chicago.

Growing up, Nick played multiple sports, such as baseball hockey and basketball. But the love he had for the game didn’t compare to the fascination he had with covering it.

Eriksen graduated from the University of Georgia in the spring of 2026, where he majored in journalism and sports media. He worked with three newspapers, broadcasted baseball and softball for a local NAIA College, and worked production for SEC+ Network.

He grew up listening to Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks games, vividly remembering mimicking the broadcasters voice as he tried to re-create sports moments in his childhood backyard. It was Chicago’s Len Kasper, Pat Foley, and Harry Caray that inspired him to pursue sports media.

When not at the station, Eriksen loves to be with family and friends. He has a passion for music, and loves discovering new artists he has never heard before.
