1,000 miles of Nebraska roads open now, according to NDOT

Some good news for around Nebraska.
The Nebraska Dept. of Transportation says they’ve reopened a thousand miles of roads since historic flooding took place across Nebraska.
They have less than 500 miles closed now, but still much work to be done.
One of the roads that is now open is Hwy 275 between Wisner and Beemer, that was closed due to a collapsed part of the road.
NDOT is urging people to still use caution on roads, as some may still be unstable and never cross barriers.
They also say patience will be required with the extensive damage done to roads.
