11 people arrested on drug charges in Fairbury area

Two year drug investigation leads to multiple arrests in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office along with the Fairbury Police Department and the Joint Fugitive Task Force announce the arrests of 11 people.
The Sheriff's Office served several warrants over the past week, including seven on Monday. All were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. Details on what kinds of drugs involved were not available.
The warrants stem from investigations by the Rural Apprehension Program Task Force over the last 22 months.
