11-year-old Nebraska girl killed in Missouri accident

An 11-year-old girl from Nebraska was killed and several family members were hurt, in a single vehicle accident in Missouri.

It happened Tuesday around 12:30 a.m. near Springfield, Missouri.

Authorities say 40-year-old Maria Borland of Lincoln, over-corrected her 93′ Chevy Suburban, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

The 11-year-old was wearing a seatbelt and entrapped.

She died at the scene.

Two other passengers were ejected and critically injured.

The other passengers suffered minor injuries..
