UPDATE: New details on the crash that killed 13 year old

UPDATE: Lincoln Police say Taylor Miller, 13, was an Irving Middle School Student. Lincoln Public Schools has their Crisis Response Team at the school and available for the students Monday. The driver of the pick-up is a 16 year-old female. Police are still investigating the accident. No citations have been issued at this time.

UPDATE: Lincoln Police say 13-year-old Taylor Miller, a Lincoln Public Schools student, was the girl hit and killed by a pick-up Saturday evening near NW 20th and West O street.

Lincoln Police say a 13-year-old girl was killed last night after being struck by a car.
They say it happened around 10:30 p.m. near NW 20th and West O. The child was crossing West O with three of her friends, when she was hit by an eastbound pick-up.
Police are still investigating what exactly happened. We will bring you more information when it becomes available.
