13th Annual Golf Fore the Troops
Golf Fore the Troops held their 13th annual golf tournament on Monday at Wilderness Ridge.
The fundraiser awards scholarships for family members of active military personnel serving here at home or abroad.
One of the men who started the fundraiser says we can’t do enough for our troops.
“They do get some college help from the military, from their service but it’s never enough,” Co-Chair of Golf Fore the Troops, Jim White said. “We just enjoy putting on this tournament for them.”
In just 13 years, over $180,000 has been raised.
