16-year-old killed when ejected from utility vehicle in central Nebraska crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen was killed Wednesday after being ejected in a crash in Gospar County, the sheriff’s office says.
Around 10 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy on patrol discovered a rollover crash near Johnson Lake, just southwest of Lexington.
The sheriff’s office said a 16-year-old boy was ejected from a utility vehicle after a crash.
He was not wearing a helmet or seat belt. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
