2.1 million watched Nebraska volleyball’s championship match against Texas

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska’s championship match against Texas is now the most-watched women’s volleyball game in history.
On Tuesday, ESPN reported that Texas’s sweep over Nebraska averaged 1.7 million viewers on ABC, a 115% increase from last year.

The match peaked with 2.1 million viewers.
Female viewership, which made up 51% of the audience, was up 151% from last year, according to ESPN.
