$20,000 in jeans, sunglasses stolen from south Lincoln clothing store, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating an overnight clothing heist at a south Lincoln retailer, police say.

On Thursday around 9 a.m., officers responded to The Buckle at SouthPointe Pavilions on a report of a break-in.

A maintenance employee found the retailer’s glass door had been shattered, according to police.

A user of the NOW Local News App shared a video of the door, which has since been boarded up.

Around $20,000 worth of Oakley sunglasses and Buckle jeans were stolen from the store.

Police said employees are working on a “detailed inventory” of the missing items, and officers are looking for surveillance video.
