A car passenger has died after a collision between a car and a sport utility vehicle in Omaha. Police say 27-year-old Audrey Stubblefield, of Omaha, died of her injuries at a hospital early Friday morning.
She was one of three passengers in a car driven by 24-year-old Brittni McBride. The injuries to McBride and her other two passengers are not considered serious. Police say McBride's car collided with an SUV that failed to halt at a stop sign.
The SUV driver was not injured. He was identified as 29-year-old Octavio Miranda, of Omaha. Miranda was arrested on suspicion of criminal homicide. Police say alcohol likely was a factor in the collision.
It's unclear whether Miranda has an attorney. The case isn't listed yet in online court records.
