29th annual Bricks of Honor at the Veterans Memorial Garden

It is the 29th annual Bricks of Honor dedication, and on Saturday there were 77 new bricks that were placed in the memorial.

The garden honors everyone who has served from Lincoln, and for everyone who comes and sees the bricks, the moment when you read all of the names who serve is quite overwhelming.

“It’s a really powerful place we are honored to be a partner with the Lincoln Park department and the veterans garden advisors council to really respect and honor those who have served and this is an annual event that really captures the essence of what the garden means,” Maggie Stuckey from the Lincoln Parks and Recreation said.

You can visit the memorial at any time at Antelope Park.
