33 Laid Off From Beatrice Plant

There are more layoffs, this time its 33 people at the Neapco Plant in Beatrice. The plant is a vehicle drive-train manufacturer.

The plant manager Duane Culver said the jobs were elimanted last week, because of a “soft business environment”.

They are working with local agencies to help the laid-off workers find new jobs.
